Marketplace Quality Agent (US Remote)

We are seeking Marketplace Quality Agents to work with one of the fastest growing content subscription / fan websites in the market.

This position will involve reviewing and moderating media uploaded by our users to ensure it adheres with our Terms of Service, as well as reviewing new user applications.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently deliver excellent attention to detail by quickly and efficiently identifying any and all concerns within the content and applications you review.
  • Maintain exceptional procedural knowledge, adhering to process & policy and ensuring specialist issues are escalated to the right team..
  • Demonstrate discretion and maturity when moderating user uploaded content, including content which breaches our terms of service and which may be extreme in nature at times.
  • Meet and exceed productivity and accuracy expectations.
  • Due to the fast paced nature of a start-up environment and the rapid growth we are experiencing, the responsibilities of this position may evolve and successful candidates should be happy to adapt, adopting other related duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Fluent written and spoken English with excellent communication skills.
  • A distraction free, private home environment available at all times for the purposes of remote work. This should include a suitable computer, headset and a stable, fast internet connection.
  • Confidence with technology, demonstrating knowledge of standard office software, a good typing speed and the ability to pick up new software and tools with ease.
  • Flexible and happy to adapt to the scheduling needs of the department, which may include working early starts, late finishes, weekends and holidays.
  • Able to commit to working 40 hours per week determined by a fixed schedule which may be subject to change.
  • Capable of handling sensitive content with resilience and discretion.
  • Able to work independently and autonomously with minimal supervision, while also establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships, both internally and externally.

Bonus Points
  • Experience working independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience delivering customer support through email and/or live chat.
  • Experience supporting customers of online businesses and/or peer to peer marketplaces.
  • Experience working in community management, content moderation and/or trust & safety.
  • Experience working in a start-up environment, motivated by the benefits this offers and accepting of the challenges it can present. 
  • Knowledge of Zendesk, Guru, Slack and/or the Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet & Gmail & Calendar).

Please note that this is a work from home position which welcomes applications from remote workers based anywhere in the US.

This position will initially be offered as a contract and successful applicants will be working as independent contractors. There may be an opportunity to convert to employee status at a later stage, subject to performance.
